Hi Again , Here we are into January and the weather is so warm ! I did not realise that my central heating was not on until I had been up and around for a couple of hours, not normal for January is it. ? However, when I went to collect my grand daughter from school it was getting pretty cold.
Today I have a pretty Sarah Kay card to show you " First Kiss " it really is very appropriate for Valentines Day, which is not too far away.
I used my favourite Copics to colour the image in, oh they are so cute ! Added a little white heavy embossing powder here and there around the images.
The Love Ticket is from Tim Holtz and they tag on the left of the card is a Magnolia Doohickey Dream Tag die that I die cut out onto printed card stock and added a little white paste around the edges. The butter different dies over-layered onto each other, |One is a Sheena Douglas die and the other from a set by Joy Craft.
The large flower has been made from coffee filter papers, they make superb flowers, damp a little after die cutting , scrunch , just a little, be gentle....and you will have some very pretty flowers.
For some reason our supermarkets do not seem to sell white coffee filter papers only brown, so they were bought from Ebay, not expensive and they will last you for ages.
Here's a closer peep at one of the butterflies. I added just a touch of pink on the outside of the wings and popped a tiny white rose in the middle.
This is the inside of the card, the card stock that I used was from the lovely Maja Design range.
I am so lucky having a craft shop near me that stocks a excellent selection.
So it, s time for me to say goodbye for now, hope that you like this card, thank you for taking a peep, Take care, and will see you soon, xx
