26 th January, 2015.

A Magnolia Tilda card,  Hello again and thank you for visiting my blog.  I,m slowly getting there trying my best to understand how you move pictures, align your text correctly, most difficult when the computer terminology is soooo difficult when you have never ever worked with computers.  Everything in my day was done by pen and paper, I sound so ancient, but really it is not that long ago.

Anyway, here is my Magnolia Card that I so enjoyed  doing. Just love the colours of pink and browns together.  This Magnolia stamp was the very first one that I bought, and so love her as she is just really cute.

I used Maja Design paper for my card stock and actually coloured Tilda  with Distress Inks, which is pretty much a first for me, but I was quite pleased with the results so will probably use them a lot more.

The white doily is a new purchase from Spellbinders, part of a set. I have distressed the edges of the Tim Holtz butterfly border with a little brown distress ink and added a few pink flat backed pearls.

I did some pretend stitching around the card with a fine point black pen.  The large pink daisy was too big, so I trimmed down the petals a tad and popped a pretty rose in the middle.

The white filigree paper bow is from Spellbinders

This is a closer look at the large daisy that I trimmed down, popped a rolled rose in the middle and a smaller rose in the middle of the rolled one, I though it looked just that bit different.  Added a little white Gesso to complete the look.

Here's a photo of the inside of the card, loads of room to write a message.
Hope you like my card, thank you for looking, always appreciated, take care.
