Hello everyone, and welcome to my new card that I am posting today. I have tried unsuccessfully I may add to post this card a number of times to day. What happened to the time today. I was to understand that when you retired you had more time......no !! I seem to keep bumping into different things, heading off in a new direction, doing lots and lots of other interesting bits and bobs....and the day is almost gone !
So I am taking this opportunity before I go to bed to show you this pretty Whimsy step card.
The little girl was a freebie from a magazine quite some time ago. I don't buy a lot of crafting magazines, but every now and then you see something that you know you will use, and she has been used quite a few times.
The step card was bought in a pack from my local craft shop Which Craft in Doncaster. Paula has lots and lots of beautiful and different styles of pre-scored cards in stock, so worth a peek.
The little girl was coloured using Copic pens and a little touch of Prisma pencils.
The large pink daisy was from my stash, it was too large so I cut the petals down, layered another daisy on top and cut the petals just that tad shorter and popped a little rose in the middle, a dash of white Gesso on the edges to finish off the flower.
The white bow is a Spellbinders, Sue Wilson filigree bow and the turquoise jewel in the middle is hand made.
I die cut and embossed the butterfly, and whilst the embossing powder was still hot, sprinkled a little glitter on. it. The card stock that I used is from the Tilda range.
Well I did have a photo to show you of a close up of the flower, but it is floating around in cyber space. Must get my 10 year old grand daughter to show me what I am doing wrong !!
Hope you like this card, thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.....off to bed now, night night xx
