Friday 11th July, a visit to the LOTV shop near Leeds, and a LOTV card.

Hi everyone,

A couple of weeks or so ago I was in Leeds, so could not resist going to the LOTV shop in Farsley.  If you are in the area it is certainly worth going.  The shop is beautiful, loads of inspiration , well set out and nobody bothers you whilst you browse and gaze at the wonderful displays.

So I could not go there and not make a purchase, or two, or three, ah well the credit card came in handy.

We crafters are always well in front of the seasons, so here is a Christmas card, from a stamp that I bought.

The stamps from LOTV is called Snowman family, so cute.  I also bought some of their paper packs, one being Winter themed, which I have used on this card.   The snowman family have been coloured with Copics.   I used a Spellbinders Poinsettia die, distressed the edges with Walnut stain distress ink and added lots of glitter, Twinklets Diamond Dust, which is very similar to glass glitter, but very sparkly.

The leaves are Magnolia Doohickey mistletoe, and the snowflake circle is from Joy Crafts.

I have added some snow to the trees, which is Winsor and Newton Galeria Modelling Paste.  I am really loving this product and find that it looks great on lots of different things. I have found the best way to apply it is with your fingers or for a more defined look, a cocktail stick.

Hope you like this card, I had fun doing it as it was something different.
