28th July, 2014

My lovely grand daughter's  birthday card.

Today it is one of my beautiful grand daughter's birthday, she is  two years old, and a real little poppet !
We had a lovely party for her yesterday, all her friends came around, the sun was shining, what a really special day.

She has reached the age where she knows what a birthday party is, and sooo enjoyed blowing out her two candles whilst everyone sang  , " Happy Birthday to You "

So here is the card that I made especially for her.  I used a Mo Manning Digital stamp, called Little Eden.

I used Copic pens to do the colouring and added some shabby chic embossing around the coloured image.
The large roses I made my self using a Spellbinders Spiral Blossom die.

I added two Magnolia Doohickey ' So Wrapped Swirleys '  , one with a matching rose and the other one with ' two today '    The card stock that I used was pretty pink gingham check that was in my stash and LOTV paper from their Shabby Shack paper stack.

At the top of the card I used a Tim Holtz On the Edge Butterfly border,  wound it through my crinkling machine and added a little pink distress ink.  The other butterflies are from Joy Craft , die cut from Maja Design card and a pretty pink rose popped in the centre.

To complete the card, I die cut a Magnolia Doohickey Dream Tag , another rose and a pretty pink and white spotty tied ribbon.

I hope that you like this card, thank you so much for taking a peek,
