Hello again,
This card was made for a very special lady that we met whilst away on our boat going through the South Yorkshire canal system.
We crafter always take away bits and bobs to do, so her husband spotted me doing some craft work and was interested to find out what I was doing. When I told him that I made cards, and it was his wife's birthday coming up so he asked me to do her a secret birthday card.
They live on a beautiful wide beam barge and during the lovely months they travel the river and canal system around England, then moor up for Winter What an fantastic way to live, and what a lovely couple they were. So, without his wife's knowledge I had to have this secret meeting, to hand over this card.
She loves dogs and they had one quite similar to this grey one, and she also loves music, so I hope that I was able to incorporate all that she enjoys.
Anyway, the doggies were down loaded and printed off, then matted and layered. I chose a pink card background which is from Maja Design and matched it all up with pretty pink flowers, all which were hand made. Dried gypsophilia was added to the flowers and die cut leaves.
Because of her love of music I die cut a music bar, which is a Memory Box die . The heart is a Spellbinders die, Heartfelt Creations. Lace and butterflies complete the look that I was after.
I hope that you like this card, and to the lady on the beautiful barge, if you see this posting, Happy Birthday, hope you had a wonderful day and trust that one day we will see you both again.
Thank you for looking, enjoy your day.
