A Girly Card,  ' All  Dressed Up  '

Hi !  Good morning, today my card is one that I really enjoyed making, a proper pink girly card.  The stamp is  by Little Darlings, just love it !!  Reminds me of so many young people in my family so could get used quite a lot.  I actually used distress ink to colour her in, getting a bit better. I did go out and buy some really good brushes which I think helped enormously .

The large flowers are hand made from white mulberry paper, coloured with a quick pink spray and a little distress ink. The doily die in the background is Marianne. The card stock that I used was a freebie down load, two different pinks ones , flowery and striped.

I don't design or work for any craft company, everything is my own inspiration and my lovely hobby, thank you for stopping by, take care and have a lovely day xxx

A Religious Card, for Easter

Good evening to everyone. Today I have done a religious card with Easter in mind  So much has been happening for me that the Easter holiday has crept up on me rather quickly. So for all my granddaughters it was a quick trip to buy the lovely chocolate eggs for them as well as a little gift.

I used white linen cardstock for this card and pretty roses. The larger one has been hand made.  The cross was done in silver so that it would stand out against the white background.  Martha Stewart punch provided the little green foliage in two different greens.

19th March 2016 Here we go again with my Teddy Bo card !!

Here at last is my card that once again disappeared into outer space, so hopefully this time round it will be ok.  Must get the young lady in to see what I am doing wrong , so little time  !   Anyway, this was a digital image download, as you can imagine caused me lots of problems, as was lost in my computer until son in law found it !  Teddy Bo was coloured by using Copics.  The white doily is a Marianne Anja frame.  I made the flowers from a Spellbinder die and coloured them in a deep yellow to match the sunflower that Teddy Bo is holding.

Here's a close up of the flowers.   I added black micro beads in the middle and ivory dried gypsophila to hide any little gaps between the leaves.  Hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful weekend  xx

Pink and Black Shabby Chic Card

Hi, good morning on this absolutely beautiful sunny day.  Really feel that Spring has arrived. Something must be urging me on as I have had the urge to do all the jobs in my home  that have been neglected during the Winter....out comes the paint and emulsion !

Here is my latest card, really like to chop and change styles, so back to a Shabby Chic one in black and pink.  The flowers were hand made using mulberry paper.  The leaf die is one of my favourites, a Sue Wilson one.  So...background paper sprayed with a touch of extra pink and pearl, a heavy embossed corner die, pink spotty organza ribbon and a lovely sentiment stamped into the middle.

The smaller leaves are from a Martha Stewart punch, always comes in handy for the little leaves.
Hope you like my card, enjoy the day , please stop by again, hugs to all xxx

A Lili of the Valley Fairy Card

Hello and good evening to all the lovely crafting people, here is one of my latest cards that I have done in very pastel shades.  It is a lovely Lilli of the Valley stamp that I have had for a long time.
She has been coloured using Copics and I have put just a little glitter on her wings...well, all faries have glittery wings don't they  ?

The lace is from my stash and has white pearls sewn through the middle.  The flowers I hand made from mulberry paper, sprayed pale pink and added stamens in the middles. I think they look just right.

I am into using pearl sprays at the moment and watched on You Tube all the different ways that you can make your own glimmer mists etc. I wanted grey leaves with just a touch of colour, so used my home made gold pearl spray on them to add that little bit extra.

18th February 2016

Here is my card for today, a Shabby Chic Style that I have done in blues and a touch of purple.
The pretty die cut lace is from Joanna Sheen Dies, she does so many pretty lace dies.
I am trying to get into using my stencils and embossing paste, so have done just a little in the background.
I hand made the large flowers and added a little white paste to them to give that Shabby Chic look.

Here's a closer peep at the flowers.

Hope you like my card, thanks for stopping by, hugs xxx

A Shabby Chic Card

Is it the 10th ?....  not too sure of the date as the days go by so fast.  We have been decorating our hall, stairs etc., had new wooden floor laid and are waiting for stair carpet to be fitted, be glad when it's all finished  !

So here is my pretty Shabby Card, so loved making this.  I used my new die and cut it in half, half one end , half the other. The die came from Craft Passion, a Polish company, excellent service.
I added fairly wide ivory lace across the card, pretty roses, some not quite the colour that I wanted, so gave a little spray with a touch of peachy pink. Die cut leaves, pretty sparkly butterflies, just love it !

Hope you like my card, thank you for taking a peep, take care , xxxx
