13th February, 2017 Some more of my work

Hello, here a re a few of my cards and toppers to show you that I have done recently. I have been so busy, some were for a commission and others to be purchased, hope you like them

A Mo Manning topper using an image purchased from The Hobby House

                                                            A Teddy Bo Card Topper.

This one was a digital download. My computer ink does not work too good, it smudges with alcohol pens and also with distress inks. However, at last I have discovered that by feeding in lightweight water colour paper, and then colouring with water soluble crayons, at last it does not run !

The last thing to show you is some pretty hand made frosted crystal butterflies, they sparkle much more than the photograph is showing.

Thank you for taking a peep at my work, it so keeps me out of mischief !  xx

2nd February, 2017 Magnolia Tilda Card

Hello , I have a few cards to show you today that have been done over the last few days. The  first one is a Magnolia card, pretty much all done in pink.

The next one is a LOTV card using one of their newest stamps

This one is an easel card. I used water soluble wax crayons for the colouring.

A Shabby Chic style card tag, inspired by the very talented Frank Garcia.

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy making them, take care, xx

20th January, 2017, Lots of Pretties

Hi everyone, After feeling not too good, I have spent quite a lot of my time just making pretty bits and bobs, as to just how I felt, so here are a few of my recent creations.  Firstly some pretty butterflies.  They were made from lots of layers of fine materials in my stash.

I love to use the dried gypsophilia ( can never spell it right  ! ) , it gives everything a lovely soft finish.

Next is some pretty mulberry paper flowers, this time I popped a little pink rose in the middle.
Thank you for taking a peep, take care, xx

9th January, 2017. A Mo Manning Card Topper.

Hello and a happy New Year to you all. Like so many of my friends, we have all had this terrible cold that has been doing the rounds, two weeks now and just starting to feel better. Therefore, not much crafting has been done, just not been feeling like doing any, but getting back into the swing !
I have a Mo Manning card topper to show you, I used a bought image, so no colouring done, which I guess is just as well as not really in the zone yet !

The die I used is a new one from Marianne, their Anja range, very pretty. The butterfly is a Poppy die.

I used bought flowers and added my usual oh so pretty dried ivory gypsohilia , plus die cut leaves.
Hope you like my card topper, thank for taking a peep, hugs  xx

23rd December, 2016 A Sarah Kay Card.

Good afternoon, I have a pretty Sarah Kay card to show you today that was coloured in with distress inks, not my favourite but hopefully getting better.

The seam binding ribbon I dyed myself to try to get as near as possible to the large flower, in colour. The large flower was my very first attempt at using Foamiran.  For those who have not used it, it is pretty much in vogue at the moment.  I watched numerous YouTube videos and they were very helpful. However, tricky stuff to use as well as quite expensive, so may I suggest to tread carefully when using it so as not to waste any.  The little roses were from my stash and the colours tied in well with the colours on the Sarah Kay stamped image.

A closer peep at my first Foamiran flower.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas xx

15th December, 2016 A Birthday card for my daughter.

Hello , today I have a pretty birthday card to show you that I have made for my daughters birthday. She is a proper girly girl so thought this LOTV stamp would be most appropriate. I used Copics to colour this time. I added lots of pretty things, very pink seam binding ribbon, lovely flowers and lace.

The cardstock that I used was a real find.  My local pound shop was stocking lots of lovely packs of craft paper, all really good quality, so guess who grabbed as much as I could !

The lovely flower die is another new one ( !) oh dear cannot resist !  It is from Joy Craft and I love it.  I added  a few pink roses across the flowers with dried ivory gypsophila .  Love the butterfly. I added lots of glitter to it's wings and some glass glitter to add that extra sparkle.

Hope you enjoy looking at my latest creation. As mentioned before I am not aligned to any craft company, these are all my own thoughts and love that go into each card. Take care, and thank you for taking a peep.

5th December, 2016. Almost White on White LOTV Card Topper.

Hello, we are well into December and hopefully organised for Christmas. I have done most of my shopping, wrapped and ready to go under the tree.  Just the food to order, as everyone all coming to me this year, so will have a lovely house full of family, especially the little ones.

Today I would like to show you a LOTV almost white on white Christmas card topper that I have done, using a LOTV purchased image.  These are so pretty, and if like me, I have far too may LOTV rubber stamps, many not used, so it helps to keep the cost down and I can indulge in more !

The background card stock was a lovely new addition to my dies, by Marianne, Anja Frames, love it. I added some snowflakes, a hand made white flower and a filigree bow.  Not a great deal needed for this one, but I find it very pretty, hope you do also.

A peep at the white flower, of course, some glitter added to the petals.

Thank you for stopping by, happy crafting, xx
