22nd November 2018 A Little Bit of Winter Wonderland.

Good morning from a cold U.K. And in the famous line from ' Game of Thrones'...Winter is Coming ! Time for me to do a few Winter...Christmas style cards and toppers.  Again I used an LOTV printed sheet for this one, bought a year ago and purchased as a down load so always in my files to print as and when needed.

I added lots and lots of white die cut Winter style foliage and layered pretty Poinsettia flowers for the finishing touch.

Love ' white on white ' , especially for Christmas work.

Hope you have a lovely day, hugs xx

15th November, Using LOTV Pre-Printed Images Card.

Hi, Today is a card that I have made using the purchased pre-printed LOTV sheets, these are the new ones featuring fairies.  Now I adore LOTV stamps and products and have that many it is embarrassing. I live not too far from their ' shop ' in Farsley, Leeds and would often go and purchase loads of stuff off them. They have closed their outlet shop to the public and gone more down the way of digi printing, colour or black & white , printer ink being especially difficult with Copics, so a no - no on that one for me as it would smudge whilst trying to colour the black & white. I must add that they do still sell stamps, not as many , quite limited, and more in the line of  ' x ' amount on a sheet, so good value. So, I purchased their new fairies coloured sheet and although the fairies are so pretty I did find that I needed to ooooph the colour up a bit by adding a touch of my Copics here and there. Each to their own on that one, but here is the finished card with the touch of oooomp on the fairy !

I added glitter to the wings, a bit more green to her dress, red on the toadstool and added grass rather than leave it with just a few pale flowers that were on the print.

The inside of the card was done to complement the front.

Thank you for stopping by, enjoy your day xxx

9th November, A Shabby Chic Romantic Card

Hi, good afternoon. Another busy few days. We have managed to sell our boat and have been emptying it of all our bits and bobs. We say goodbye to it tomorrow and I will be a touch sad as we have had such lovely times with it cruising the Inland Waterways. Everything has it's time and after 20 or more years it is time to move onto something new...what ?  not sure yet !

I made a really pretty card, I think it is !  using Foamiran to make the flowers, with lots of pretty die cut foliage.

I added my favourite ivory dried gypsophilia among the flowers.

A closer peep

I always like to decorate the inside of the card to compliment the front.

You can just see the pretty scalloped lace die cut inside.

Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely weekend, hugs xx
