23rd Februar, 2017, Oval Toppers

Hello, Well I am waiting for storm Doris to arrive, so far everything is pretty much ok, just a little bit windy. Hopefully that will be all that we get in this area of England.

Today I have two toppers that I have done, I am very much in love with oval shapes at the moment.

I  have used a Marianne Anja Die for the frame, such a pretty die.

I kept nearly everything white, except for the little roses, which were originally white, just did a very light spritz of pink.

This oval frame is a much larger one, from Tonic, lots of other dies to mix with it to get different looks. Again I kept this one mostly white, the exception being the ivory dried gypsophilia to add to the Shabby Chic romantic look.
The image is from Pion Design.

Thank you for stopping by, hugs and best wishes xx

13th February, 2017 Some more of my work

Hello, here a re a few of my cards and toppers to show you that I have done recently. I have been so busy, some were for a commission and others to be purchased, hope you like them

A Mo Manning topper using an image purchased from The Hobby House

                                                            A Teddy Bo Card Topper.

This one was a digital download. My computer ink does not work too good, it smudges with alcohol pens and also with distress inks. However, at last I have discovered that by feeding in lightweight water colour paper, and then colouring with water soluble crayons, at last it does not run !

The last thing to show you is some pretty hand made frosted crystal butterflies, they sparkle much more than the photograph is showing.

Thank you for taking a peep at my work, it so keeps me out of mischief !  xx

2nd February, 2017 Magnolia Tilda Card

Hello , I have a few cards to show you today that have been done over the last few days. The  first one is a Magnolia card, pretty much all done in pink.

The next one is a LOTV card using one of their newest stamps

This one is an easel card. I used water soluble wax crayons for the colouring.

A Shabby Chic style card tag, inspired by the very talented Frank Garcia.

Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoy making them, take care, xx
