30th December, 2017 Romantic Wedding.

Hi , the days are going so fast that I even got my last posting date wrong. So here we are with the year almost gone and into 2018. I guess a lot of wedding preparations are on the way for Spring weddings.  I would like to show you a pretty wedding card topper that I have made using a digital download from forever ago, hidden away in my computer. She is adorable and so romantic.

I used Spellbinders dies , white roses and dried gypsophilia. I wanted to match the foliage up with something that was light and gentle in colour and had nothing in my stash. So the sprays came out from Lindy's, two sprayed on top of each other to get the desired colour. A light beige pearl gold.

A closer peep of the roses and foliage

Thank you for looking at my work.  I wish you all a very happy and wonderful New Year for 2108.

21st November, 2017, Romance and Lace

Hello everyone.  At last I have done and finished with making Christmas cards, as much as I have enjoyed making them there comes a time when you want to concentrate onto something else. Valentines Day is just around the corner and I feel sure that there are lots of lovely couples making wedding plans for next year, so that inspired me to do some romantic style cards, This is what I have come up with and hope you like them.

The first one is a Wedding card topper done with a LOTV stamp and coloured using Copics.

The lace applique was from my stash, bought some time ago from an oddment of bridal material.

The lace set me off on making the heart shaped topper. I made the Foamiran flowers and buds. Using the lace applique in the first one set me off searching for other pieces of lace. This one came from a milliners shop . I must admit I sat and looked at it for some time before cutting into it.

Isn't it beautiful ?  The applique piece has little beads, slightly larger pearl beads and edged in silver thread.   Thank you for taking a peep at my work, always appreciated. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year xx

11th December, 2017 A Stamping Bella Birthday Card.

Hi, from what seems like the only part of the UK that has no snow. I would like to show you a birthday card that I made using a Stamping Bella stamp.  The recipient of this card loves her morning coffee so thought this was so appropriate.  I used Copics to colour the image.

I like the idea of having a matching die for the image as it makes it so much more versatile.

The flowers are hand made using Foamiran.  I still prefer to colour the edges using water soluble crayons after having tried all different kinds of colours.  The pretty gem in the centre was from a bracelet that I found in a cheap store and took it apart.

Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely evening, xx

3rd December 2017 Make a Wish Card

Hi, good morning . I was asked by my cousin that lives in Florida to make her a card, which at the moment is on it's way across ' The Pond '

It is from a stamp , LOTV, that I have had for some time, but never fails, just love it.

I coloured the cute little girls with Copics and of course it  has to be pink. all the flowers are handmade including the pink Foamiran rose made using a Spellbinders rolled rose die.

I always like to decorate the inside of the card to compliment the front.  Hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day, hugs xx

Very similar , but different. Again a pink Foamiran flower was used , but other embellishments. Hope you like my pretty heart card toppers, thank you for taking the trouble to take a peep, xx

17th November, 2017 For those who like Teddie Bears

Hi, Today I would like to share with you some beautiful papers from Pion Design called Theodore and Bella.  I have used them before but they went to the bottom of my stash to be discovered again. They are so useful and oh so very pretty and could be adapted to any kind of card.

The pretty lace die has been in my collection for some time, again forgotten until I saw a card with this die being used. It is from Spellbinders if I remember correctly.

A closer peep at the lace die and flowers.

Such a pretty picture cut from the papers.

Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely weekend xx

10th November, 2017, A little bit more Christmas

Hi everyone, had a really lovely day with my youngest grandchild, she is just over  two and a half years old and as bright as a button. She was really interested in all the beautiful Christmas window displays and all the shops selling Christmas decorations.  It was so good to see her little face light up at what she was looking at.  It is to  treasure these times as you never get them back.

On the Christmas theme, I have some more of my Christmas work to show you, hope you like them.

This is from Lili of the Valley, one of their latest Christmas launch stamps, coloured with Copics

For this one , again it is Lili of the Valley, but bought last year and is one of their many images to download.  I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the little Robin and a few snowflakes to the background.  The large flower is made using the popular Foamiran with some stamens added to the centre.

Thank you for taking a peep, have a lovely evening, take care, xx

28th October 2017 Less is More Card.

Hi everyone, been so busy with such a lot of family and friends birthdays. So have been doing some cards on lovely silk linen cardstock ' Less is More ' style.  Had a good search in my boxes of stamps and found some totally forgotten really nice stamps.  On this card I used a Hero Arts stamp of three seperate roses.

I stamped each rose and coloured with Copics, mounted each one onto some stitched edged rectangle dies, double layered the dies, added a Happy Birthday.....done  !

I kept the inside of the card plain.

Hope you like my card, thank you for stopping by, have a lovely weekend xx

21st October 2017 Back to A little Shabby Chic again/

Hello. I have been doing a little bit more Shabby Chic style again, just love making the flowers. Anyone that has not tried making them using Foamiran, do have a go, follow instructions on YouTube there are some great tutorials out there. Once you have tried making them, be warned you will get hooked !  The card I have to show you has three pink Foamiran flowers on it, I used a roll your roses die from Spellbinders which I have had for ever.

I used Pion design paper for the background.

A closer peep at the flowers. Crafters have different ways of colouring the Foamiran, I find the best that sits me, is white Foamiran and a water soluble crayon , pink in this case, the edges of the petals touched back and front before heating and rolling.

When making a card I always prefer to do the inside to match the front.

Hope you like my card, thank you for taking a peep, take care xx

6th October 2017

Hi everyone, Autumn is well and truly on it's way. The trees are loosing their leaves among a riot of crimson, copper moss greens and golds, absolutely beautiful. It is one of my favourite times of the year. On a plus side....you know what to wear when you go out, something a little warm and snuggly, but not too heavy, leave that for the Winter.

Today I have some more card toppers to show you, the first is from an image by Pion Design.

I made the Foamiran flowers and popped a little rose in each centre, my lovely ivory dried gypsophilia adds that Shabby chic look to it.

Next is a LOTV topper , bridesmaids from their latest range. Coloured with Copics.
I added the pretty stamp and die cut wedding bells which are from Heartfelt Creations.

I really love those die cut frames, Pearl Pin dot by Tattered Lace and have circles, squares and rectangles, which I use such a lot.

Thank you for taking a peep at my work, always appreciated, have a lovely day xx

24th September, 2017 A Pretty Bithday Step Card.

Hi, good morning, in fact a very early good morning, as it is just gone 2 a.m. One of those night when for some silly reason you just cannot get off to sleep. I thought that I may as well do something useful with my time , so would like to show you a birthday card that I finished making yesterday.  It is using the stamp called Wonky Tonk Girls, which I have used a few times and really love it.

The daisies are made from mulberry paper that were spritzed very lightly with pink, screwed up just a little and a tiny rose popped in the middle. I stamped the image, coloured her using Copics, then re-stamped her body onto Maja Design card and layered  3D style. I put a few very tiny pink crystals on her hair.

A closer peep at the daisies. The leaves are from Heartfelt Creations stamp and die set

Just a few more embellishments and a pretty butterfly to finish off.
Thank you for taking a peep, have a lovely day xx

15th September, 2017 LOTV Christmas

Hi, good morning. I have some pretty LOTV Christmas toppers to show you today using their very latest launch. They are so very cute, could not resist them !

The lovely die cut back ground is a Tonic studio set, lots and lots of
different way to lay the dies.

I seem to be in love with reds at the moment, but very traditional. Again a lovely LOTV image, which I have had for a few years.

Thank you for taking a peep at my work, have a lovely day xx

6th September, 2017 And now for something different.

Hi everyone and welcome.  All our family and close friends birthdays seem to run from the end of August through to January. I am not allowed to buy a bought card for anyone, so a busy time for me at the moment as I have five family birthdays this month, and ooops  ! forgot one , so had to make a quick one, plus a niece that is not very well and in hospital.

I used a Heartfelt Creations Classic Rose stamp, coloured it with Copics and put onto a black background card stock  that I had embossed and gilded in golds.  I added a  pretty organza ribbon with a gem in the middle with a few white faux flat backed pearls...done !  quite pleased !

This one was using Spellbinders dies layered onto a white linen card. I made the pink Foamiran flowers plus a few bought  pink mulberry roses and a little touch of dried gypsophilia

Hope you enjoy looking at my cards, thank you for taking a peep and have a lovely day.

31st August, 2017. Magnolia for a change.

Hello and good morning.  It seems such a long time since I coloured a cute Tilda image, and felt inspired after having a peep at all the lovely cards on Pinterest. I have a fair amount of Tilda stamps so decided to put at least one to use.

Isn't the scalloped garland banner pretty ?  Bought from Noor Design, a Little Darlings Die.

Lots of pretties used on this card topper.

I made the pretty blue cornflowers by using a Martha Stewart punch, quite impressed with how they turned out. I used mulberry paper, sprayed it a pale blue.

Hope you like my tilde topper, thank you for stopping to take a peep, have a lovely day. xx

18th August, 2017. One LOTV image, two different toppers.

Hi, good morning, today I would like to show you two different toppers that I have done ,using the same down loaded image.  I am quite liking these down load pre-coloured images, so very handy when you are wanting a pretty image, already coloured and you want it now !   not waiting for the post to arrive in a few days time, but now ! As all crafters know, once you get an idea in your head you need to get on with it...... so one down loaded pre-coloured image and this is what I have done.

It is from LOTV and called Hugs. I kept true to the colours and did the topper is pretty shades of browns and cream. The flower was one found in my stash, so tied in quite well with my colour scheme.

I really loved this image, but did not want to do browns again
so I got out my Copics and touched it up with pinks, makes it look totally different.

Thank s for taking a peep, hugs xx

Wednesday, 9 August 2017

9th August, 2017 , A Black and Grey Creation.

Hi, today I would like to show you a pretty black and grey topper that I was asked to do for a friend. I have used the Wonky Tonk girl, but coloured it in the chosen colours that was asked for. At first I was not too sure, but as it started to ' get together ' I could see how pretty it was going to turn out. Hope you like it.

I coloured her using Copics . The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations Flowering Dogwood. I stamped with white onto black card, die cut and shaped.

Thank you for taking a peep, have a lovely day, xx

Here are a couple of Christmas toppers that I have just done from the very latest LOTV stamp launch. Loving these latest ones, wish I could have afforded to have bought them all.

Used my usual Copics to colour with, always my favourite.

These little mice as so cute !!

25th July 2017 A Decorated Letter.

Hi everyone, something a little different to show you that I have just completed. It is for one of my grand daughters , it is her 5th birthday next Saturday. She loved the one that I made earlier in the year for her little sister, so besides a big present this is just a little something to make her happy.

I bought the alphabet letter from eBay, gave it a number of coats of white Gesso, and then pale pink chalk paint.  I made some large and small Foamiran flowers to decorate, plus some pretty little pink roses.  I added two glittery butterflies and quite a lot of faux white pearls.

A closer peep at the butterflies and flowers.

Thank you for having a look at my creative work xxx

Hello. I am so fortunate to live near a lovely craft shop in my home town of Doncaster. Paula who has Which Craft has been showing on Hochanda TV Craft her Wonky Tonk girls stamps. This is one of the stamps that I bought from her and my version of using it.

I used Copics to colour with and Heartfelt Creations dog rose die and stamp combo.

12th July 2017 Just Love this One

Hello, good evening, I have just completed a very pretty wedding card topper that I so enjoyed doing. I was able to go into my craft room, almost undisturbed all afternoon whilst the builders were down stairs, and I kept out of their way. So this is my finished result.

I used a Little Darlings stamp and Heartfelt Creations Dog Rose die and stamp combo.

The doily die was a freebie from one of the first Tattered lace magazines and has been used so many times. Hope you like this one, thank you for stopping by, tale care, Hugs xx

2nd July 2017 A Little Bit of LOTV

Hello, Back onto the lovely Lili of the Valley. They do such cute images to colour in, so here are just a couple that I have done.

Found some lovely papers in my stash. Hand made roses using Heartfelt Creations  die.

Just love this one  with the little robin.  I used Copics to do the colouring.

No matter what colouring medium I use, I always go back to Copics, my very favourite.

Thank you for taking a peep, have a lovely weekend xx

25th June 2017 More Heartfelt Creations.

Hello, I have just returned from a lovely weekend at a friend's house that always looks after us so well. The weather has been dry so my first job was to water all my pretty flowering tubs and the new roses that have been recently planted.

The Heartfelt Creation topper I would like to show you today, was using the Classic rose die and stamp combo onto a gilded and embossed background.  I added the dried gypsophilia to add to the Shabby Chic romantic style. I was going to add some glass glitter to the roses but changed my mind

This topper is using the same die and stamp set but I did the roses out of vellum.

Just using different materials to make the roses gives them a whole different look.

Thank you for taking a peep, have a lovely day . xxx

20th june, 2017 Such a Lovely Car to make.

Hi !  Good morning.  At last had a lovely nights sleep.  Here in the U.K. we are not used to this hot weather so are totally not geared up for it.  Last night the temperature went down a little so had a decent night.  The next card I would like to show you that I have made, is a shutter card, using Heartfelt Creations stamps and dies.  Truly enjoyed making this card with all the different elements.

Isn't it cute ?  I coloured in the house and all the extras using Copics and distress inks.  there were lots added to the house garden, even a secret wrought iron gate in the back part of the shutter , where will it lead to ?  Must use these stamps and dies again, probably not a shutter card as it took me such a long time to do.  But the ideas are flowing !
Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day

Thursday, 15 June 2017

15th June 2017, So in love at the moment with Heatfelt Creations.

Hello, Some more of my work to show you. I have fallen in love with Heartfelt Creations. I have in my stash some of their lovely card stock, got it out again because I had purchased their Classic Rose die and matching stamp. These are a couple of things that I have done, so itching to do more in different colours, so little time .  I have had what seems like forever their lovely heart die, matches up so well with the card.

The same roses, one a touch larger and all a paler pink

Thank you for having a look at my work, have a wonderful day, hugs xx
