Hi, Good morning. Today I have a lovely card topper to show you using the large Tonic Studio Venetian Lace Die, which has 11 dies in total. Boy did I have trouble with this die ! Eventually found the right way to use it. My machine is a Sizzix Big Shot Plus. I placed the die downside, well taped to my cardstock which was underneath. I taped every corner and every side, and it went through for me brilliantly. So here is the lovely die in use, using the largest frame which is 19 cms x 19 cms
I just love the pretty die cut edges. I added an inner square from the set, then an ordinary stitched edge frame which I embossed. A pretty die cut doily circle in the middle and a little gold sentiment.
All the roses were hand made. I used a Marianne die for the leaves and then added some ivory dried gypsophila to the roses. Hope you like todays topper card. have a lovely day xx

17th June 2016 , A Pretty Pink Heart.
Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by. I have returned, early, due to all the terrible wet weather from my holiday. However, I am refreshed and full of creativity ! I managed to get in a bit of distress ink painting, so hopefully you will see a few cards turning up in the future using this technique.
Today I have a pretty pink heart to show you that I did before I went away, it can be used as a topper or a fancy gift tag. I embossed the die cut heart then gave it a spray with pale pink pearl , one of my own sprays made up.
Here's a closer peep at the roses. They have been made from white coffee filter papers and a Spellbinder rolled roses die. Out of all the different papers that I have used this die for, the coffee filter papers, to me , make the roses look so very realistic. Of course the filters were given a quick pink spray. The die for the leaves is from Cheery Lynn, and the swirly flourish underneath is an old one from Memory Box which I think you are still able to purchase.
Thank you for taking a peep, so until next time, take care xx

6th June 2016 My First Altered Art Canvas
Hello and good evening to you all on this very beautiful day. Today I would like to show you my very first attempt at doing the canvas. I bought a fairly small canvas so the project wouldn't be too consuming ( I easily get bored ) but, I truly enjoyed doing it. I kept the colours in dusky pinks, and whites with a touch of turquoise in the butterflies to give it just a little bit of contrast.
All the embellishments that I have used are from my stash, although I must now buy a new tub of Gesso, as it has used so much up. Here's a peep at the flowers. I think for a first attempt it's quite good (must blow one's own trumpet , so to speak )
Thank you for stopping by, hope you are all enjoying the lovely burst of sunshine, take care xx

Lili of the Valley, all in blue.
Hi everyone, I am back for a short while, then off on my travels again. I am such a lucky lady. So whilst I have been at home I have done a bit of crafting and did a very pretty Lili of the Valley fairy card. Lots and lots of pretties on this card.
I made most of the flowers from die cut mulberry paper, sprayed very pale blue and gesso added to the petals. The lovely butterfly border is from Joy crafts. I cut it out twice, once in white card and them in Maja card, glued together to give it a bit more thickness. The bow is a Doo Hickey die as are the swirly leaves. There is distressed seam binding ribbon tied to the Doo Hickey , So Wrapped Lovely.
