30th April 2016, My Lovely Shabby Chic.

Hello and good morning. Woke up today to beautiful sunshine, cold but lovely blue skies.  Today is my youngest grand daughters birthday party, so must get a move on as I have some baking to do .

Today my card is a pretty Shabby Chic style which as you know I love doing, so here it is  !
I used a Spellbinder nesting die, so very pretty and added one large hand made pink flower, the rest were from my stash.  The dried gypsophila always adds to the Shabby chic look, plus it fills in any little gaps.

Here's a close up of the pretty flowers.

Hope you like todays card, thank you for stopping by xx

25th April, 2016 Lovely Lilac

Hello again,  two postings in one day  !!  Getting the hang of the photograph side....hmmm !  after all this time !   If someone just explained it in simple terms, result !

So here is my lovely second card that I have just finished in lovely lilacs, one of my favourite colours.  A simple card to make, didn't take me long to do but I do like the end result.

I tried to match up the lovely roses on the background paper. I used white roses and added a touch of pink here and there to the petals.  A few small lilac flowers and dried gypsophila.  I distressed the edges of the paper and rubbed a touch of white paste around the edges to add to the shabby chic look.

Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely crafting day, xxx

A Pretty Vintage Style card topper.

This is a pretty vintage style photograph that I purchased from a craft store that was in sheet format with others, so I will be getting a lot of use from these photo's.  I have added a pretty filigree bow, a Sue Wilson die to the top of the topper.  The flowers have been hand made, white card stock for this flower die with the edges of the petals touched with Tim Holtz distress ink, Victorian Velvet just to give that hint of pink that I wanted.   I did my usual spray and scrunch technique. Works for me most times.

Here's a closer peep at the flowers. I added a little pearl bead in the middle.

Hope that you like this card topper, thank you for taking a look, always appreciated, xx

6th April 2016, A Lilli of the Valley Card

Hi, good afternoon, today I have a pretty Lilli of the Valley card to show you that I have done for a friend, she has a granddaughter who will soon be 4 years old and loves bunnies, so this stamp from Lilli of the Valley has to be perfect.
I coloured the bunnies in with Copics and added a little Glossy Accents to the paws and the little hearts. The larger flowers were hand made with my usual style, spray and scrunch.
The pretty die cut leaves are a fairly new die from Sue Wilson's collection.

Here's a closer peep at the flowers. Hope you like my card, take care, love and hugs xx
