A White card, with lots of lace

Hello everyone and welcome, here's my very latest card that I have done, an all white on white card with lots of pretty lace.
I cannot resist lace, collect it when ever I see any as I have lots of projects that I can use it on ( which never seem to get done )  but I can still look at it !

So I think that the lace does all the talking on this card, beautiful white heavy guipure lace, put across the bottom of the card.

Here's a closer peep at the lace.

I embossed the back ground white card, added some white die cuts and a Tattered lace Doily flower.

The bling in the middle is very sparkly without ' going over the top' too much

This is a look at the card from a side view.

And the inside, left quite plain, plenty of room to write your message.

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my cards, you are so much appreciated, hugs xx

A Sarah Kay card.

Good morning !  What a wonderful day it is, the sun is shinning and here I am up bright and early whilst hubby is still fast asleep !  No doubt as soon as I get doing this posting he will chirp in the background,  " any tea please "  For some reason they have a habit of knowing that you are doing something........told you so......he has arisen !   Yes, there it is...." Any Tea Please "  So will finish this later.  We are still waiting for the phone to ring any time for a new addition to the family, baby should have arrived two days ago.  We don't know if we are going to be the proud grand parents of a girl or a boy. I think it's really nice not to know.

So here is a pretty little card that I did recently using Sarah Kay, My Sweet Lily , which I have used before, but she is so pretty.

It really was a doddle to do, just matting and layering pretty card stock, and as you can see the rest is plain straight forward.

Here's a closer look at pretty Lily, I used Copic's to colour her with and added a touch of heavy white embossing power around her to add a little dimension

The roses were rolled roses with a pearl bead popped in the middle.

I used the Sue Wilson filigree bow die in the same cardstock as the card with a little embellishment in the middle.

Shabby  Chic again  !!

Hello and good morning to everyone that is up bright and early on this lovely Monday. The grand children have been back at school for over a week now but I still seem to be catching up on things that need doing.   Well it's really nice to be able to get into my craft room after having done a tidy up, you all know the feeling when the grand children get into the craft room and have a go at different stuff, under supervision I may add !!

So here is my pretty Shabby Chic card to show you, I so love doing this type of card, but at the same time it's nice to alternate between styles. As I don't work on any design team or represent any product I can do my own thing !!

The roses were die cut on a light weight pearl card, I find it easier to roll them. I used a touch of distress ink on the roses before rolling. When done I just lightly touched the edges of the petals with light brown, to give a little dimension.  The other flowers were hand made, die cut, coloured, wet and scrunched then pearl stamens in the middle.

The butterfly is a Joy craft die ( I think ! ) but whatever butterfly you use would look just as pretty.

I popped some flat backed pearls down the spine.

Hers' a closer look at the roses.

I used lots of different dies for the leaves, was going to do them in a very pale green but changed my mind as I guess they look quite 'chic ' in white, with the pearl sprays here and there
