20th September, 2014 A Mo Manning Card from the Cute as a Bug Collection.

Good morning everyone, today I have a lovely Mo Manning card to show you from The Cute as a Bug Collection.  Don't you just love these beautiful little baby fairy's . When I received these stamps I was itching to use them, managed to get this one done and soooo enjoyed making this card,  so here it is......

I coloured her in with Copic pens and glittered her wings just a tad.  The card stock that I have used is from Bella Rose Design paper by  Tanya Whelan

Here's a close up of the flowers

I matched the inside of the card to compliment the front

Nothing too fancy, but just love this card stock.  I used a Spellbinders frame for the card, front and inside.

Thank you for taking a peek, it's so nice for you to stop by, enjoy the day...xxx

20th September, 2014 A Baby Girl Christening Card.

Hi everyone, the weekend is here again, how quickly the days go by. The days are getting shorter, the nights drawing in, but the weather is still warm. The countryside is especially beautiful at this time of the year with all the trees turning into their stunning Autumn colours.  My grand children are collecting all the fallen horse chestnuts ( conkers ) all shiny and a stunning shade of  brown, now there's some inspiration for a colour scheme !

Today I have a very pretty baby girl Christening card to show you that my friend asked me to do. I don't get asked to do this type of card very often, so have never bought a stamp. What I did have was a Lili of the Valley Art Pad collection, which has come in very useful.  So I added a little more pink here and there and put some Glossy Accent on the window.....done.....!

Here's a photo of the finished card

I embellished it with a large pink flower, roses and of course pretty butterflies.

The card stock that I used was from Maja Designs.

This is a closer look at the flowers.

I did the inside of the card to compliment the front, with the baby's name, and date.

I hope that you like this card, thank you so much for stopping by  xxx

A Pretty Lili of the Valley Card

Well at last the holiday mood in Doncaster is over. We have just had our very famous race week, The Saint Leger, which is the oldest classic race in the history of racing.  The whole town is buzzing with activity, including BIG hats, me being one of them.....love it.. !  A real excuse to get dressed up  !!

Next week we have the Roman's coming  !  The town having a long history of  Romans being part of Doncaster  , as in Caster meaning camp, and Don as in the River Don.  Anyway that should be great fun watching the Roman Legions marching through the town. So.....enough of the history of my lovely town.

Here is my card, a Lili of the Valley Card.

I really enjoyed making this card, as Lili of the Valley always have such beautiful stamps and I can't get enough of them. I search through my box, ahhh !  forgot about this one and away my inspiration starts!

I used a new pack of card stock called Bella Rose, which I am so in love with at the moment.
The butterfly border is Tim Holtz, which I have added a little white paste.
For once I did not  make my own flowers, these ones coming from my stash. I though it was about time that I started to use some of them up as they were mounting up. Like all crafters cannot resist buying !!

Here is s a closer look at the Tim Holtz border and the flowers

.

I have decorated the inside of the card to match the front.

I hope you like my card, have a lovely day, Thank you so much for taking the time to have a peek at my creations  xxxx

An  All White  Card

Hello and good morning to everyone.  I have been so busy these last few weeks that I have not been able to post a card.  The grandchildren  have now gone back to school, so I have a little more time. I have also learnt that I am going to be a granny again, a new baby to come along in April ! How exciting !

Today I am posting an all white card. I always think that white is so elegant, and of course can be used for numerous occasions.

I embossed the background with two different folders and added  some silver Stickles around the edges.
The lovely heart die is from Cheery Lynn.

I made the flower from white organza ribbon, using instructions that I found by accident from The Ribbon Box whilst I was ordering some ribbons.

Here's  a photograph of the inside of the card, this time I reversed the embossed background to add a little interest.  the large heart is from the centre of the Cheery Lynn die

I hope you like this card, thank you for taking a look, hope you have a lovely day, bye for now  xx
