A Pink Shabby chic Card.

Hello everyone, thank you for stopping by to have a peek at my Shabby Chic card.  I made this card a couple of weeks ago , but with it being the school holidays I have had no time to keep up with things.

Who said that when you retire that you have less time  ?  Well it is so true.!

                                                             So here is my card.....

.

I used Maja Design papers for the background with a little glittered embossing paste, white lace from my stash  and a  perfume bottle printed post card .

The flowers were all hand made with some white paste added to them to help create the Shabby Chic look.

Here is a picture of the flowers.

I decorated the inside of the card to match, but put the lace across.

The white embossed paste in the corner has been glittered , but the photo dose not show it up.  Must ask my grand daughter for some photograph tips, as she is studying this subject at school.

Hope that you have enjoyed looking at this card as much as I enjoyed making it.  Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek.  Have a lovely weekend,.

Lots of pretty pearls,

Good morning to all the lovely people that are up bright and early this morning.  One of my daughters is away for a few days so I have been entrusted with looking after her two pretty Cavalier doggies, who are up early  !!  hence me also !  So I thought that I would take this opportunity of  showing you this pretty Shabby Chic Card that I have made, which if you are interested is for sale on ebay.

I enjoy making my own flowers, so this card is no exception as all the flowers have been made by myself.

I would like to show you a closer look at the flowers which have dried white gypsophilia among them

I added some white seam binding ribbon and champagne coloured embroidered lace.

The pretty frame was made using Martha Stewart air drying clay with a little gold enamel pen touching the edges here and there.

I put some  Glossy Accent glue inside then the white pearl beads and a little crystal glass glitter, which is really sparkly which unfortunately the photo dose not  capture.

The die cut butterfly is from Joy Craft from a set of three, which is just the right size to sit on the edge of the pearly  frame.

I hope you like my Shabby Chic card, thank you so much for popping by and taking a peek, hope you all have a lovely day.

Pretty roses, shabby chic style card.

Hi !  and good morning to  everyone.    At last the sun is shining here in South Yorkshire, no more torrential downpours we hope.   I have just returned form a  boating holiday on the Calder & Hebble  canal system in West Yorkshire.  I have developed muscles that I  was not aware that I had.  The locks are the old traditional style, oh boy are they hard to work with a windlass. Some have to be used with a  large wooden stick called a hand spike !  not for the faint-hearted  !!  Although it would help if they were  greased up a bit more .

So for my card today, I have posted  a pretty ' shabby chic ' style . I really enjoy making flowers, so all the roses on this card have been hand made and coloured by Moi !   The leaves have been die cut, squashed and creased after I have embossed with a dark green and gold embossing powder and edged with a gold leaf  pen

I used Anna Griffin paper for the background and vintage seam binding ribbon in a lovely rusty colour that was wet and scrunched up for the ' shabby chic ' look.  Dried cream gypsophila was added among roses

I decorated the inside of the card to match, but swapped around the Anna Griffin paper, top to bottom and again used a little of the rusty coloured ribbon..

I hope that you like my card, thank you so much for taking a look and hope that you have a lovely day.
